Composite Bonding
Composite bonding is a cosmetic dental procedure where a tooth-coloured resin material is applied and shaped directly onto teeth to repair damage or improve appearance. It is commonly used to fix chips, cracks, gaps, discolouration, or slightly misshapen teeth. The tooth surface is prepared with a conditioning liquid. Layers of composite resin are then added and sculpted to the desired shape before setting it with a special curing light.
The procedure is usually quick, minimally invasive, and often completed in one visit without the need for anaesthesia or impressions. Composite bonding is more affordable than veneers or crowns, though it may be less durable and can stain or wear over time, requiring maintenance or replacement.

- Bonds to tooth structure
- Ideal for sensitive teeth

Veneers
Porcelain veneers are thin, durable ceramic shells which are bonded to the front of a tooth to improve its colour, shape, alignment, or proportion. When designed properly, they reflect light, match surrounding teeth, and feel completely at home in your smile.
Veneers may be a good option if you’re looking to improve:
- Discolouration that whitening hasn’t resolved
- Chipped, cracked, or worn edges
- Small gaps between teeth
- Slight misalignment or uneven shape
- Teeth that appear too short, narrow, or asymmetrical
Well-made veneers should feel as natural as they look. Once placed, they become a part of your smile: smooth, balanced, and comfortable.

Whitening
Whitening is a simple conservative treatment to improve the appearance of your teeth. A whiter smile can help boost your confidence and brighten up special occasions. Teeth tend to darken as we get older. Certain foods and drinks also cause staining and discolouration. It is a good idea to see the hygienist immediately prior to whitening as this will improve the response to treatment.
We use custom made whitening trays for you to use at home. A mould of your teeth is taken at the first visit to allow construction of the trays. At the second visit we demonstrate how to use the whitening system and provide you with 4 x Syringes of whitening gel and an advice sheet. You will initially need to use the whitening gel for a minimum of two weeks to achieve the best results.
Aftercare
You should avoid use of tobacco, tea, coffee, red wine and staining foods such as turmeric during the whitening process.
Whitening can make the teeth more sensitive, so it is a good idea to use a desensitiser concurrently.
You should keep the whitening trays as you can use these again to top up treatment for a couple of nights every 3-4 months or before a special event.
You should store spare syringes of bleach in the fridge.
